Brother Bear Lodge is a 4 bedroom / 3 bath.
Bed configuration: 4 queen beds, bunk bed with full + twin.
The current maximum guest capacity is 9.

Due to the dirt road and frequent snowfall, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended—and often necessary—for much of the year.

The private driveway accommodates up to two large vehicles, with additional parking available in the cul-de-sac. The driveway is also plowed following snowfall for easier winter access.

Pets are welcome for an additional fee.

The lodge’s property is home to an abundance of Rocky Mountain wildlife, with frequent sightings of foxes, moose, and black bears. Please help us protect these beautiful animals by being respectful of their habitat and never leaving food or trash accessible to wildlife.

The lodge is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi. While cell service can be limited, Wi-Fi calling and texting work reliably once connected.

Located over 11,000 feet elevation, the lodge’s high altitude can noticeably affect those arriving from sea level or lower elevations. Please use the tips below to help acclimate.
Hydrate well before and throughout your stay.
Take it easy on the first day and avoid strenuous activity.
Limit alcohol until your body has adjusted to the altitude.
Eat regular meals, including carbohydrates.
Protect yourself from the sun, as UV exposure is stronger at high elevation.
Listen to your body and descend to a lower elevation if symptoms become severe.
If symptoms become severe or worsen, seek medical attention immediately.

The lodge features an indoor wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor propane fire pit. Under no circumstances are fires or other open flames permitted outdoors or anywhere on the property in accordance with Colorado fire restrictions and burn bans.

The lodge and property are 100% smoke-free. A fee will be imposed for any violation of this policy.

Located approximately two hours from Denver International Airport (DIA), Brother Bear Lodge offers an easy escape from the city and a scenic drive into the heart of the Colorado Rockies.
